UPDATE:
"HC-PREFIX" sign can now be used by multiple players at the same time.
"HC-PREFIX" sign should be fully functional.  Those who had a problem before...that was caused by the corruption in the database, which retains prefix data.
]]> Exp from smelting.....is BACK! Thu, 02 May 2013 18:25:00 -0400 http://hcserver.com/home/article/1459303/m/2853550 http://hcserver.com/home/article/1459303/m/2853550 We had to temporarily remove the effect of getting EXP by smelting due to the bug we found in the minecraft server program.  We've reported this bug to the server developer and we've just received the news that this bug has been fixed and will be released in 1.5.2 build (It's already working for  1.5.2-R0.1 version).

We will add the effect of Exp by smelting as soon as we deploy the 1.5.2 version.

UPDATE:
We confirmed that EXP from Smelting is now working with the 1.5.2 server, and it is re-activated on all our survival servers (main, craft, pvp, eco, alphapvp).

Today we have released a new rank! This rank is called Titanium! This new rank includes new features such as Worldedit! And the ability to have any passive mob as a pet! And many more amazing abilities! All listed at - http://www.hcserver.com/commands
Many new questions have been asked concerning the new rank, and hopefully this answers them;

Q: Can I spawn mobs or change spawners for my friends?
A: No you cannot. the perks in the Titanium rank are for personal use, and should not be used for others. Using these commands for others will lead to a ban!

 Q: Can I earn Titanium with Vote4Diamonds?
A: Yes you can, however you have to be within the top three voters as usual.

Q: How do I use worldedit?
A: Here is a Tutorial for some basic commands that R_O_C_K_Y made -

Q: Is there an earned Titanium?
A: No there is not, however /tphere here permissions will be allocated to Trusteds who donate.

Q: Who gets to have a pet?
A: Only Titaniums are allowed pets, hit one with string to leash your pet.

Q: Can I have more than one pet?
A: You can only have one pet.

Q: What happens if my pet dies?
A: It will respawn in five seconds.

Q: Can WorldEdit bypass the PStone field?
A: No. HC has a special plugin linking WorldEdit and PStone.

  • Sponge (19)
  • Flint and Steel (259)
NOTE: The use of Flint and Steel to kill players outside of the pvp area is still not allowed.

UPDATE:
The plugin now limits the flow of water and lava to stay within the PS field.  Moreover, the sponge won't remove water outside of the PS field.

UPDATE:
The plugin now removes lava and water you placed when you remove the PS filed.  However, it will leave the sponges there (so that we can find out who did it!!)

We have recently added a new server to the Hub which is quite popular. It's called Bow Warfare! It is very similar to the maps found in the Call Of Duty franchise; although, it has a few different maps from the Halo series. The new game modes are: Capture the Flag(CTF), Team Death Match(TDM), and Free for All(FFA). To get to the server just go through the portal or type /server bw.
